We are trying out a new spot for October's installment of Casino on Whatever. This time it's Casino on Grass and we have selected a new spot. We are going to try out the Emarcadero Marina Park North. See the picture below for a visual reference of this park:
Here are the details:
WHAT: Monthly Casinero Meet-Up to dance outside near the water (timba music provided)
WHEN: Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 4-7pm
4pm-7pm Social Dancing - no lesson just a chance to meet up , catch up do some ruedas and hang out.
WHERE: Emarcadero Marina Park North - 400 Kettner Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101
HOW TO PREPARE: Bring beach chairs, beach blankets, we may dance barefoot since we are on the grass, so bring wipes for your feet, band-aids, and a pair of comfortable shoes, layered clothing as it will get dark and colder sooner. Bring a flashlight. 7pm will be dark, Bring your camera for pictures. This is a SNACK-LUCK, so bring something to share (food and drinks).
PARKING: Give yourself some time to find parking which will be challenging. Suggest taking a Lyft or Uber to the location (drop-off point would be Seaport Village and walk over). Or, take the train to Seaport Village then walk over.
