I know it's not a "timba" social...BUT we can still dance casino & rueda de casino to salsa music which technically speaking, is Cuban music (Son Montuno). PLUS, since we have more casineros in North County, it is super convenient to stay local and avoid crazy holiday drivers on the highway. Let's meet up for some dancing and burn some calories before the big thanksgiving grazing and the traditional carb-build up.

Modern Cuban Dance Company: Malpaso in La Jolla - Fri. Nov 17th

Since being established in 2012 by resident choreographer and artistic director Osnel Delgado, Malpaso have quickly become one of the most sought-after Cuban dance companies. WHAT: Casino/ Rueda de Casino Class Series Level 1 Beginners (Cuban Salsa); This includes a Friday rueda practice from 6:30pm-8:00pm to be announced weekly on the main blog page.
