The Escondido Public Library hosts a 2nd Saturday-of-the-Month Concert. In conjunction and support of the One Book One San Diego 2016 selection, Carlos Eire’s Waiting for Snow in Havana, this November's 2nd Saturday Concert Series will highlight Cuban culture, music and dance. San Diego's very own local timba band, Q-Ban Street Band will be playing timba. In addition, Maritza's Escondido performance group, EscoRueda, will be there to do a rueda demo to the live music from Q-Ban Street. There will be a rueda de casino mini lesson for the audience following the demo.
