Considered to be among the top Cuban Salsa DJ's of the world, David "D.J. Melao" Figueroa is a Timba D.J. from Miami, Florida and the official deejay of the very popular Cuban Salsa Congress World Tour. As the deejay for the Cuban Salsa Congress, Melao's work has gained the respect of his colleagues and some of the world's top Cuban artists. Melao has been invited to work in some of the best venues throughout North America, Latin America, and Europe.

We will also have super talented instructor and friend, Ercan Dereköy. Ercan is from Turkey. He is an engineer, musician, choreographer and a dance instructor who has been teaching Cuban folkloric dances since 2004 in various countries in 4 continents including Cuba (Universidad de la Habana). He has been an instructor in 6 international Latin dance congress in Europe and managed countless performance groups as an active performer or trainer in the past 15 years. His specialty is 1930 – 1960 era of Cuban music and dancing (Son and Rueda de Casino). Ercan will be teaching a traditional Cuban Son lesson. Siiii...CLASE DE SON CUBANO TRADICIONAL. WOW!
