Rueda Con Ritmo Cuba Trip Info Session & Workshops - Sat. Feb. 3rd

ATTENTION CASINEROS! Ryan Mead and Sidney Weaverling, co-directors of RUEDA CON RITMO Dance Company(Bay Area) are coming down to San Diego this coming weekend to entice you to come with them and Maritza to Cuba in December 2018. They are offering 1-week, 2-week or 3 week trips to Santiago & Havana plus other places while you are there.
While they are in town, they are offering some cool workshops for the up and coming casinero. With so many beginners here, this is your chance to learn about dancing to accents in the music. You know how much we love their classes at Cuban Dance congresses. WORKSHOP #1: 3:30pm - Power of the Ponche: How to listen & dance to the music to nail the accents and breaks

WORKSHOP #2: 4:30pm - Musicality: Son & Changing Time (a tiempo ‘on 1’ and contratiempo ‘on 2’)

WORKSHOP #3: 5:30pm - Fun Rueda Moves: Beg/Int & Int/Adv (Separate Groups Taught Simultaneously by Ryan & Sidney)
