SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11, 5-7 PM: PRE CONCERT PARTY + CONCERT of LOS VAN VAN from CUBA!

The CONGA ROOM has invited CURUYE.COM to host  a PRE VAN VAN CUBAN DANCE HAPPENING featuring CUBAN DANCERS on tour with the esteemed HAVANA-based dance and music company, BAN RRA RRA!

Dancers YASELIS SÁNCHEZ and JUSTO CERUTO, featured dancers with Cuba’s internationally renown BAN RRA RRA, come to Los Angeles after performance tours of  Miami, and San Francisco. They’ll be demonstrating some of their favorite Cuban dances at the PRE VAN VAN party!

Deejay WARAPO will be playing all the latest CUBAN DANCE MUSIC from CUBAN SALSA! SON! TIMBA! SON! REGGAETÓN! RUMBA! to keep the flow on the dance floor, and KATI HERNANDEZ will amp up our dance energy to welcome Cuba’s favorite dance band, LOS VAN VAN!

$25 gets you into the pre-concert dance party, AND concert! (This specially priced ticket requires you to be in the Conga Room before the end of the pre-concert party.)

The Conga Room’s BOCA restaurant will be open from 5 PM. Reservations can be made at 213 745-0162.

Help celebrate 13 YEARS of CURUYE.COM, the So Cal cultural website, and 7 YEARS of CURUYE’s CUBAN DANCE PARTIES in L.A., featuring an evening of CUBAN SALSA! SON! TIMBA! REGGAETÓN! RUMBA! RUEDAS de CASINO! RAFFLES! The ever popular DJ WALT DIGZ from SAN FRANCISCO joins L.A.’s fave DEEJAY WARAPO to keep the dance floor hot at the BIG CELEBRATION!
