Casino on Cardboard in La Jolla Shores Park - Sat, May 19th

We're taking it to the beach, again, with May's installment of Casino on Cardboard at La Jolla Shores Beach! We will be dancing Casino & Salsa on cardboard...soak in the sun, ocean air, watch the sun go down while having a blast dancing to the best music! Everyone is welcome, this is a fun, no pressure activity, regardless of your dance level. We will dance with each other and all together in Ruedas, salsa suelta (line dancing salsa) San Diego style! I will teach a mini lesson for folks who are new to dancing to include footwork and movement drills to loosen you up!

We will set up on the sand, in the area between the lifeguard station and the bathroom/shower stations. There is free parking in the beach lot, which can get full on weekends, and off street. Feel free to bring any snacks and refreshments. Look for a bunch of people dancing on the beach, calling out Bullas, and music!  This a is a family friendly event so bring the kids. be aware, there is still a lot construction going on so there will be obstacle in the to the path on the sand, but we'll be there with flip flops on!

When: Saturday, May 19th from 5-8pm
Where: La Jolla Shores Park 8287 La Vereda, San Diego, California, United States.
What to bring: Beach chairs, sweater if it gets cold and any snacks you want to bring. We will provide water.
