The DANCE FLOOR will be SIZZLIN’ at CURUYE’s AUGUST CUBAN SALSA TIMBA DANCE PARTY! DEEJAY WARAPO will be hot back from Havana after guest dj’ing at CUBA’s ’FESTIVAL de la TIMBA and LOS VAN VAN’s 50th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION! We’ll be dancing to the latest CUBAN SALSA! TIMBA! REGGAETÓN!
KATI HERNÁNDEZ will kick off the party teaching some Cuban dance moves to spice up your dancing at 5:30 PM. To add to the evening’s activities, KAREN POWELL, AMY HARTENDORP, RUBY ROJAS, TAMI GUNTON-NAVARRO, & MARTIN GUNTON-NAVARRO will be dancing the birthday dance and sharing some cake with you! (If you would like to celebrate your August birthday, please message Curuye.)
AND, by coming out to dance today, you’ll be helping some students! As customary in August, Curuye will make a donation for school supplies from the party’s proceeds to The 5 Keys Covenant House shelter for homeless youth.
The Granada’s Chef Israel has entrées, sandwiches, and salads to energize hungry dancers!
