A BIG CURUYE WELCOME to the caravan of SAN DIEGO CUBAN DANCE & MUSIC LOVERS & SHAKERS who are traveling north to dance & revel with all of L.A.! The ever popular MARITZA BAÍDA of SanDiegoRueda.com, as well as TIM SNEDEKER of EnRuedaMeMás will be leading a RUEDA de CASINO class at 5:30 PM! Cuban DJ SANDUNGA will be making the trip too, keeping us dancing the evening away to Cuban Salsa, Timba, Reggaetón! Let’s all make sure we dance with a San Diegan or two or three before the night ends!  The Granada’s restaurant offers some tasty offerings: everything from salads, appetizers and snacks to hot entrees, so consider sharing a meal with your friends.

Sorry, everyone, I had to cancel.  Next month for sure.

June's installment of Casino on Concrete is our second time being there with an awesome view!  If you haven't been here before, you don't want to miss this place. The last time we went here, we had a dancing friend who brought his drone and took a video of us dancing at Powerhouse Park. We'll be there. Come dance casino, rueda de casino, Cuban salsa suelta at Del Mar's Powerhouse Park on Saturday, June 1st. It should be a gorgeous sunset while we dance.

Hike n Rueda at Volcan Mountain Trail - Sun. May 26th

CALLING ALL CASINEROS!!!
Grab your hiking boats and your moves, and JOIN US on the Volcan Mountain Trail! Let's get out in nature and do some Ruedas. If you haven't been on this trail, it is very scenic and you can see into the Anza Borrego Desert.  Plenty of places to dance rueda on this hike. Don't forget to bring a camera!

Friday Rueda Practice Prep for Mega-Rueda at Musica en la Plaza - Fri. Apr 27th

Start the weekend right dancing rueda de casino at our Friday Rueda Practice for an hour before we the Musica en la Plaza event featuring Manny Cepeda Orquestra. It's that time of the month (last Friday of the month) for Musica en la Plaza. And you know what that means, right? It's time for the mega-Rueda to get crazy fun!  It's going to be huge this year with Manny Cepeda Orchestra Quartet. Bring your dancing shoes and join Manny Cepeda Orchestra Quartet for live music in the beautiful Lyric Court at the California Center for the Arts Escondido.

Performer percussionist, composer, singer and arranger Manny Cepeda has been making music all of his life. The energy his compositions bring to the audience is nothing but fire and excitement. HELP SPREAD THE WORD! CURUYE’s CUBAN SALSA TIMBA DANCE PARTY is BACK ON for SUNDAY APRIL 14 at The GRANADA! LET’s PARTY HARDY with DEEJAY WARAPO playing the latest dance music from the island: CUBAN SALSA! TIMBA! REGGAETÓN!

MARITZA BAíDA, back by popular demand, will kick off the party with a RUEDA de CASINO class at 5:30 PM, so come early! In addition to Cuban salsa, Rueda de Casino, we’ll be dancing some fun and funky line dances to the hot Cuban dance beats.

Casino on AstroTurf at Solana Beach - Sat. Apr. 13th

Are You Ruedy Casineros?!

That's right mi gente! It's the April installment of Casino on Cardboard and this time on AstroTurf and back in Solana Beach at our favorite spot.  Come dance with us to our favorite music (timba)  and join in on some ruedas, salsa suelta and just plain on-on-one casino dancing. The sun will set a little after 7:15pm so there will be plenty of sunshine and a cool Pacific breeze to enjoy.
