Hello Everyone!
We are starting this week with the newest Casino/Rueda de Casino Level 3.1 series. This one-month rueda class series is set up for Beginner Level 3 casinero and Rueda de Casino dancers. This is a technique clean up series to better execute each basic casino move for timing and ease of movement, ease of communication with hands and body with your partner. This series will also introduce more add-on casino moves for social 1:1 dancing as well as the rueda.
Dancers must already know the following moves:
Closed position moves - Pa'l Medio, Pa'bajo, Un Tarro and add-ons to these moves(flaco/gordo, un tarro pero no la dejes, exhibela; dos-con-una)
Open position moves - Guapea, Dame, Dame Directo, Dame La loca con Bulla, dame con despelote, Dile Que No, Adios/Prima (con la hermana, con la familia), Vacilala (con una mano, sobrero, sombrero con una mano), Echeverria, Matala, Un Fly series; enchufla (con manolin; con mambo; con ronde, dile que no y dicelo)
We will also be adding more ADD-ON's to your 1:1 social dancing and for the rueda. Be ready to learn the following:
Paseala
Rodeo (rodeo sin manos)
Con Julian
Enrosca ( and Enrosca pa-fuera)
Aguarachar (Traslado footwork in motion)
Casate
Saloneo
Smooth hook-turn technique (ronde)
These will be added into the rueda as add-on's and rueda moves but after casino one-on-one first before the rueda.
LEVEL 3 TECHNIQUE CLEAN-UP SERIES DATES:
Classes will be the following dates: 2/6. 2/13, 2/20, 2/27
Tuesday nights from 7pm-8:30pm ; includes a public rueda practice on Fridays to be announced in class
There are NO Drop-ins after the first class.
