Casino on Astroturf CANCELLED

I have to cancel Casino on Astroturf this month. We will have it in January when the weather and my health is better. (hey..that rhymed!) Save the Date for the next Casino on Astroturf is Saturday, January 12th.

New Rueda de Casino class on Monday Nights Beginning 2013

That's right! I have my own rueda de casino class through the City of Carlsbad Parks and Recreation beginning January 2013! I will be teaching at Calavara Hills Community Center Activity Room. It is a beautiful space. Please tell your friends who want to learn to pre-register as pre-registration began Dec 5th. Below are the details:

Maritza Baida will be teaching a Rueda de Casino class through the City of Carlsbad Parks & Recreation

Casino on AstroTurf - Saturday, Dec 15th

Yes, it is still happening, Casino on Astroturf in Fletcher Cove Beach Park  in Solana Beach moved to Saturday, December 15th from 4pm-6pm.
Come dance a few of hours with casino friends/family members. I've got the timba playlist ready to go. This is a free family-friendly event so bring the kids and the abuelos. Bring snacks to share with all as it is a snack-luck (instead of pot-luck). Here are the details:

What: A Free Casino/Rueda dance party/picnic near the beach. Timba music for 2 full hours. All are welcome!
When: Saturday, December 3pm-5pm (in time for the sun to set)
Where: Fletcher Cove Beach Park in Solana Beach: 111 South Sierra Avenue Solana Beach, CA 92075
