Video of the Week! - Charanga Habanera with lyrics to La Suerte

Oye Mi Gente!
If you want to help bring more live music from Cuba to San Diego, it is going to need one big ingredient...you singing and dancing with the singers of the band. Here is a video clip of them; it also has the lyrics. Know the lyrics so you can sing along. The best compliment to the band is that you know their music. Sing with them next to the stage so they know you are excited to see them. Enjoy! Click here for the lyrics of La Suerte.

SALSAtlanta 10.2 Cuban Party - The Schedule is up!

Greetings Casineros of San Diego,
SalsAltanta is hosting a their third annual Cuban Party full of workshops by excellent dance instructors, stellar performances and dancing to our favorite music (timba, son, chachacha etc). I attended this event the last time they had it and it was awesome! Check out the schedule! It is now online. So far there are four people from San Diego is going (Vidal, Eleanor, Orlando and me). Come join us. It is so worth the $$. As a dance instructor, I came back with more knowledge on styling that  I didn't have before and I improved because of the instruction at this congress. Check out this review from a friend of mine who went (a college English instructor) who commented on this event so eloquently.

There are other hotels in Downtown Atlanta to stay in that are far less expensive and it is a small walk to Georgia Tech University where the event will take place. There are also shuttles all around Georgia Tech University to help with commuting around the campus.

Check out the website for this event:  SalsAtlanta10.2 3-Day Cuban Party

Once you go, you'll want to come back to attend this amazing Cuban Party again!
