MEET & WELCOME CASINEROS from out of town! CURUYE’s SEPTEMBER CUBAN SALSA TIMBA DANCE PARTY will be a particularly SPECIAL DANCE BASH winding up a weekend of KATI HERNÁNDEZ (L.A.) and MARITZA BAÍDA’s (SAN DIEGO) second ’RUEDA QUE SE MUEVE’ event bringing SAN DIEGO casineros together with L.A. dancers for a series of classes with KATI & MARITZA, this time in L.A. KATI will also be having her CUBAN MUSIC & DANCE GANGA happening this weekend, so there will be quite a gathering of California and out-of-state Cuban music and dance lovers to get to know and dance with! DEEJAY WARAPO will be playing the best to CUBAN TIMBA! SALSA! REGGAETÓN! He’s been playing some live recordings of some of our favorite artists that you won’t want to miss!
At 5:30 PM KATI & MARITZA will teach a Rueda de Casino dance class!
So far celebrating their birthdays will be ALMA ALVAREZ SALAZAR, RICARDO SALAZAR, CRISTINA BAÑUELOS!
Chef ISRAEL promises to make some tasty dishes for hungry dancers, so plan on eating at the venue!
$10 over charge includes the dance class.
