Picnic-Paddle-Percussion-Salsa-Casino-Bonfire in Mission Bay - Sat. Aug 29th

Let's enjoy the day by picnicing, stand-up paddling, playing percussion, salsa and casino rueda dancing and finishing up with a bonfire. As usual, I will get there early to set up and secure a spot and post pictures and exact location that day. I will have shade and umbrella, few chairs, 1 camp table, 1 small propane grill, mats and 2 SUPs to start off. I will also have my bongos and various other hand-percussion instruments. SEAWORLD FIREWORK SHOW at 8:50PM! http://seaworldparks.com/en/seaworld-sandiego/park-info/know-before-you-go/

Hope you all can join! Feel free to invite "like-minded" individuals.

Here are the details:
WHAT: Picnic-Paddle-Percussion-Salsa-Casino-Bonfire in Mission Bay
WHEN: Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 11am throughout the day & evening

HOW TO PREPARE: Bring your own chairs, SUPs, umbrellas, coolers, games and any other picnic items

FOOD/DRINK: As usual I will have some items to share, but I can't feed everyone. If everyone brings a little of each to share, it shouldn't be an issue.

BONFIRE: Let's try to get a bonfire going this time. Unfortunately, my car is pretty packed with stuff, so I have little to no room for wood. So if someone wants to head that up, feel free to let the group know.

Casino on Cardboard at Coronado Beach - Sat. Aug 15th

Greetings Casineros!

What better time than August to cool off and dance at the beach again! If you didn't get enough dancing in La Jolla Shores Beach last month, get prepared for August in our prime beach spot. We are taking the cardboard out to Coronado Beach at our regular spot on the sand near Sunset Park.

This is one of our favorite spots in San Diego. So come by and dance and share good times in one of the most beautiful beach sites in San Diego. I will need all hands on deck to help unload the cardboard and duct tape the floor. Your help is super appreciated!

WHAT: Casino on Cardboard (Cuban salsa dancing at the beach on a cardboard dance floor).

WHEN: Saturday, August 15th, 4:00pm for Set Up and 5:00-8:30pm for dancing.

WHERE: Coronado Beach across from Sunset Park in Coronado; Sunset Park address is 101 Ocean Boulevard, Coronado, CA

HOW TO PREPARE: bring some snack or drinks, beach towels or beach chairs, a sweater or sweatshirt as it will get cold later as the sun goes down. Bring your cameras to take pictures of us dancing at sunset! I will post your best pictures on the blog.
